With the ongoing development of the area, Lille has become a major destination for business tourism. This reputation is breaking boundaries: in 2014, the capital city of Flanders entered the “top 10 of French cities hosting European and international congresses”, ranking directly at the 7th spot.

Be it for work or to enjoy the city, Lille is famous for its hospitality and cultural offering. With a population of more than one million, the city and its surroundings are daring, innovating and reinventing arts, sports and parties… there’s always something new to do. With all these assets, Lille is an ideal destination for your business trips!

Hyper-accessibility

Lille is strategically located at the crossroads of three European capitals, all less than 1h20 away via high speed train. TGV stations Lille-Europe and Lille-Flandres, which are just a quarter of a mile away from one another, connect Lille to about one hundred destinations. Three airports can be reached within 1h20min.: Roissy Charles de Gaulle, Lille-Lesquin and Brussels. Lille-Lesquin airport is just a 15-minute drive away from Lille Grand Palais, with flights to 50 national and international destinations, several times a day.

Hospitality

Accommodation-wise, Lille and its region provide over 8,200 hotel rooms for all budgets, including over 3,500 rooms within a 10-minute walk from the train stations and Lille Grand Palais. The range of accommodation keeps growing, with, in 2015, the expansion of Hermitage Gantois (5*) and the opening of boutique hotel Clarance and hotel IBIS Lille Grand Palais. A Mama Shelter is scheduled to open its doors in 2017.
