Jean-Christophe Réquillart, a community paediatrician, explains why the Association Française De Pédiatrie Ambulatoire (Afpa) chose Lille Grand Palais for its 24th National Conference on 23 and 24 June 2017.

“The event is coming to Lille Grand Palais, after the 2015 and 2016 editions in Nancy and Tours. The conference gathers 400 paediatric specialists each year around a particular theme. The delegates will meet this year on the proper treatment of the child during the two-day gathering.

If we chose Lille, it is especially for its ease of access. Its strategic geographical position allows all the delegates to get there without difficulty. The city is also very well served by transport, with its airport, its two train stations and the many highways that lead to Lille.

Lille Grand Palais is the ideal venue for an event like ours, which hosts 400 delegates. We appreciated the availability and professionalism of the Lille Grand Palais teams during the different stages of the project, especially during the site visit. This is certainly what finally strengthened our choice. »
